Introdution
Most of these artworks are outdoor sculptures installed permanently in the museum park, and the rest are sculptural pieces meant for indoor display only. These rather different artworks clearly show the artistic pursuits and styles of generations of sculptors in Taiwan. When presented to the public, these sculptures communicated with their viewers by their unique language of forms.
 
Sculptures created at different times and in different styles complement each artistically, and provide the general public with an aesthetic environment sampling of the development of Taiwan Culture. After more than two years' planning and selection, over thirty sculptures have been erected as of 1997 for the museum sculpture collection. Most of these artworks are outdoor sculptures installed permanently in the museum park, and the rest are sculptural pieces meant for indoor display only.
 
These rather different artworks clearly show the artistic pursuits and styles of generations of sculptors in Taiwan. When presented to the public, these sculptures communicated with their viewers by their unique language of forms.
