  Surroundings of the museum
Art Park Avenue
Art Park Avenue ( Taichung City )
It's a blessing that there is large greenery around the National Museum of Fine Arts. Especially Wucyuan W. Road 4th Street , across the front gate of the museum, is like a green district of art in the city. There are houses with little gardens, the redbrick sidewalk along the way, green grass, and the pigeon houses on the coconut trees. Walking on this street makes you feel like being in a European country and you will get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Sit in an open-air cafe and enjoy the sunshine.
Jing-guo Park Avenue
Jing-guo Park Avenue ( Taichung City )
North from the National Museum of Natural Science, follow Gong-yi Road, Siang-shang Road, Ying-cai Road, and go down to the south till the National Museum of Fine Arts, it's a 1.7-kilometer-long journey with fountains, Citizen Plaza, Sculpture Plaza, Flora Park, and the Foundation of Taichung City Hall Centenary Monument along the road. The plants and trees are grown at the both sides of the driveway. The surroundings along this way bring you an artistic feel. It's common for people of all ages to ramble around here. From time to time, there are art performances and activities are held in this area on holidays. For the Taichung residents, they find it enjoyable and relaxing to spend Sunday afternoon strolling down on the Jing-guo Park Avenue .
